Saturday: Today you join the coach for the first day of this lovely holiday to Cornwall, travelling to Webbington Hotel & Spa for 1st overnight stop. The hotel is near Weston-Super-Mare and has traditional style rooms witha relaxed restaurant, indoor pool & spa facilities.
Sunday: After breakfast we travel through the morning and arrive in Newquay at lunchtime. After checking into the hotel, you can explore the area as you are just a short walk from the shops and 200 yards from the beach. Dinner & evening entertainment.
Monday: After breakfast you have a whole day to yourself to explore the lovely town of Newquay. With so many beaches, shops and amusements to see you will need the whole day to see all that Newquay has to offer.
Tuesday: After breakfast, join the coach for a day excursion to the lovely village of St Ives where you can visit the harbour and lovely gift shops. After time here we travel across the county to Marazion, where you can walk across the low tide path to St Michael's Mount - a tidal island connected by a short walkway to the mainland. On the island there is a castle, small village and harbour to explore.
Wednesday: Join the coach today for a journey to the wonderful Lost Gardens of Heligan. Wander through the mysterious gardens which are filled with iconic statues and jungle plants. Then in the afternoon we tour to the old market town of St Austell and travel back through the historic town of Truro, with its cathedral and museums.
Thursday: Depart Newquay early this morning as we travel towards the delightful spa town of Harrogate, and the Cairn Hotel will be the last night stay on this wonderful holiday to Cornwall.
Friday: After breakfast, depart Harrogate and enjoy the journey back home.
THE WEBBINGTON HOTEL & SPA - SOMERSET (OVERNIGHT)
Having recently undergone a million-pound refurbishment to its leisure facilities, the Webbington Hotel now offers a brand new indoor heated swimming pool, a fully equipped gymnasium, a steam room, a sauna and a solarium. For some luxurious pampering and a little well-earned indulgence, the hotel has beauticians and aromatherapists. The hotel also now has a brand new terrazzo bar with stunning views across the Somerset countryside. There is also an adjacent sun lounge and 2 floodlit tennis courts, all with panoramic views over the valley. The excellent restaurant serves a range of freshly made dishes and can cater for most dietary requirements.
THE BARROWFIELD HOTEL - NEWQUAY
The hotel is ideally located, just 200 yards from Tolcarne beach, considered one of the best in the area and only a short 10 minute stroll from Newquay town centre. The hotel has its own heated indoor swimming pool with hot tub and sauna as well as a snooker and childrens games room. The entertainment room features live entertainment every night and the spacious lounges offer plenty of space to relax in. A new bar, coffee shop and reception were constructed in 2016 helping to keep the hotel up to date.
THE CAIRN HOTEL - HARROGATE (OVERNIGHT)
hotel boasts private , a gym, and classical decor. Its traditionally furnished rooms feature private bathrooms, while ’s is 5 minutes’ walk away. Each room at The Cairn includes a TV, along with 24-hour room service and tea/coffee-making facilities. Some rooms offer luxurious bathrobes, wine, and chocolates. The Windsor Restaurant serves a locally sourced traditional menu, with a carvery and an extensive wine list. With its classic pillars and arches, guests can relax with a drink in the bar and lounge area.
