ISLES OF MULL & IONA
The highlight of this holiday, a fantastic day to the Isles of Mull & Iona. Travel on the morning ferry from Oban over to the Isle of Mull. Landing at Craignure, the coach will travel to Fionnphort, where you take the short ferry crossing on-foot to the small and magical Island of Iona. Explore the island’s most valued treasures including the Abbey founded by St Columba in 563, the Augustine nunnery and Rèilig Odhrain; burial ground of many early Scottish Kings.
OBAN & GLENCOE
Enjoy a morning at your leisure in Oban. Optional tour north to Glencoe Village and through the stunning scenery of Glencoe in the afternoon with a stop in the famous Green Welly. The coach will take you back to Oban late afternoon in time for your dinner.
INVERARAY, LOCH FYNE & TARBERT
Enjoy some of the most unspoilt scenery today as we travel south to visit the Mull of Kintyre. Tarbert on Loch Fyne is an attractive village which for many visitors acts as the gateway to the beautiful peninsula of Kintyre. Backed by rugged hills and fronting on to an attractive natural harbour, the village is still home to a working fishing fleet. After time here the coach will travel along the beautiful banks of Loch Fyne towards Inveraray where you will have time to explore.
