A fabulous new holiday for you this year where we will visit one of Scotland's most unpopulated islands in the Inner Hebrides, and one of the largest too. The Isle of Rum has some of the most breathtakingly beautiful beaches and mountains to be found anywhere in Scotland, with amazing wildlife, walks to suit everyone, a castle to explore and a thriving otter population.  We also go off the beaten track and visit the Isle of Mull, which boasts sandy beaches, castles, whisky distilleries and fantastic shopping too. There's something for everyone on our new 4 day holiday to explore the Inner Hebrides.

This morning we begin our day with an early breakfast before travelling through the stunning scenery of Glenfinnan and Lochaber to catch the foot-ferry from Mallaig to the Isle of Rum. Watch out for whales, dolphins and sea eagles throughout your journey and arrive in Kinloch harbour where you will be greeted with the magnificent sight of Kinloch Castle - an ornate Edwardian country home built in 1897 for Sir George Bullough. Explore the harbour, otters hide, gift shop, and tour of the castle before returning on the ferry back to the mainland after your exciting day on the Isle of Rum. Dinner & entertainment this evening in the hotel.

Day 3

Join your fellow passengers after breakfast as we journey from Fort William towards another of Scotland's most beautiful islands, the Isle of Mull. Our route this morning is one not many of you will have been on before as we travel along the banks of Loch Eil and Loch Linnhe passing through Ardgour and Strontian. With views over Loch Sunart and the sweeping hills of Glen Geal, we soon arrive at Lochaline to board the ferry over on Mull. After our short crossing, you will have time on the island to explore the main town of Tobermory, who's colourful cottages line the bay. You will have the afternoon to explore all the shops, harbour area, museum and distillery before the coach takes you back to the mainland for our last night stay which will be in Oban, the Seafood Capital of Scotland. Enjoy the local fayre in the hotel before some entertainment.

Day 4

Following breakfast we depart the hotel fot the return journey back home.

The Dunollie Hotel is set by the serene waterside of Broadford Bay, at the foot of the mountains that lead to the famous Cuillin Hills. With 84 en suite bedrooms, a bar and restaurant, it is perfectly placed to explore an area rich in history across the Isle of Skye.
