Our new weekend break in 2022 takes you to visit some of Scotland's best loved areas including Oban, Loch Lomond and Royal Deeside all in one break. Our base for the holiday is our very own Salutation Hotel in Perth, where you will be welcomed in with warm Scottish hospitality, sparkling drinks reception on arrival, and evening entertainment.

OBAN & LOCH LOMOND
After a hearty Scottish breakfast, you will have an abundance of beautiful scenery to enjoy today with a trip West to visit the fishing port of Oban. You will travel along the banks of Loch Earn through the Trossachs and by Kilchurn Castle on the scenic shores of Loch Awe before arriving in Oban where you can visit the many shops and cafes. After time here, the coach travels south skimming the banks of Loch Awe before reaching Inveraray. After time for lunch, we travel by Loch Fyne and through beautiful Glen Kinglas with a quick stop at the Rest & Be Thankful. Sweeping through the Argyll Forest Park before passing through Arrochar then reaching Loch Lomond. We return to Perth for dinner this evening in the Salutation Hotel.
After breakfast, the coach takes you on a scenic journey through Scotland, firstly visiting the area known as Royal Deeside. The tour will take you through the mighty Glenshee with its towering Munros surrounding you and onto Braemar in the heart of Royal Deeside. After a time here we travel by Balmoral Castle, before arriving in Ballater. Time here to visit the shops and the re-opened Victorian Railway Station. Travel along by Banchory and Crathes towards the beautiful Aberdeenshire coast, where we stop for a time in Stonehaven before returning to Perth.

A warm welcome from Gordon Paterson and his team into a traditional hotel full of character and charm awaits you at the Salutation Hotel. Set in the city centre and built in 1699 the hotel boasts a wealth of historical interest including a visit by Bonnie Prince Charlie, and you will find modern comforts are in abundance.
