Travelling to Castle Howard, one of Britains finest stately homes you can enjoy a tour of the grand house with its dramatic interiors. We also have a full day to explore the walled city of York, a guided tour of Allerton Castle near Malton, an excursion to the maginficent 18th century Harewood House, leisure time in Harrogate and visits to Knaresborough & Skipton all rolled into this wonderful new break to Yorkshire!

HAREWOOD HOUSE & SKIPTON
The morning we visit Harewood House, the 18th-century Palladian country house in West Yorkshire, with interiors furnished by Thomas Chippendale and landscape design by Lancelot "Capability" Brown. The property features nationally significant art collections and is set within extensive gardens and parkland. We then journey to the ancient town of Skipton. You’ll have the afternoon to explore here before returning back to the hotel for our evening meal.
ALLERTON CASTLE, KNARESBOROUGH & HARROGATE
After breakfast we visit Allerton Castle, notable for its intricate Victorian architecture and stunning grounds which boasts a grand Great Hall, a ballroom, and other period rooms, all set within 200 acres of beautiful grounds and gardens. We then have some time in the picturesque spa town of Knaresborough before returning to Harrogate where you will have the rest of the afternoon to explore at leisure. Why not visit the picturesque Valley Gardens or the Royal Pump Room Museum.
CASTLE HOWARD & YORK
Today we visit the magnificent Castle Howard. The estate includes a farm shop, cafes, and is the filming location for famous productions like Bridgerton and Brideshead Revisited. In the afternoon we visit the city of York, known for its ancient Roman and Viking heritage, well-preserved medieval architecture, and iconic York Minster cathedral. Explore at leisure before returning to the hotel.
CAIRN HOTEL - HARROGATE
Only 5 mins. walk from the centre of Harrogate, is the Cairn Hotel.
