Enjoy a full day out to York. With time to visit many attractions such as the gothic York Minster and Merchants Hall, sip a drink by The River Ouse and watch the world go by or simply stroll along the cobbled streets and enjoy the city’s diverse café culture.

STEAM TRAIN & THE DALES

Enjoy your trip on the Bolton Abbey Steam train this morning which runs towards the pretty market town of Skipton. Time to explore here at leisure before we travel back to Harrogate through the wonderfully scenic Yorkshire Dales.  Our return journey takes us through Grassington, Pateley Bridge and Ripon.

HARROGATE & KNARESBOROUGH
After breakfast you have the day at leisure in Harrogate to explore the beautiful spa town. Attractions include Royal Pump Room Museum, Bettys Tearoom, Valley Gardens & RHS Harlow Carr. In the afternoon there is a trip to the nearby market town of Knaresborough. This delightful town is perched on the River Nidd and has many lovely shops and attractions to visit including Mother Shipton’s Cave and Knaresborough Castle. Enjoy exploring this afternoon before we return to Harrogate in time for our delicious evening meal in the hotel.
