BEAMISH MUSEUM
Enjoy a morning in Newcastle to yourself and explore the city. In the afternoon we travel to Stanley and the Beamish Museum, a hands-on story telling adventure awaits here. Step back in time and enjoy the sights, sounds and even smells of Britain's past, with horsedrawn carts, trams and old style shops, cafes and pub to enjoy.
BAMBURGH, LINDISFARNE & ALNWICK
Offering unspoilt beaches for miles, a castle overlooking the North Sea and fascinating museum, Bamburgh offers much to the inquisitive visitor. Enjoy time at leisure to explore Bamburgh this morning, and we then travel to Lindisfarne, a World Heritage Site and an island that is reputed to be the birthplace of Christianity in Britain. The isle offers stunning scenery all around and is where you can discover history of the monks who built a priory here 1400 years ago. On the route back to the hotel we stop in Alnwick where you can explore this lovely town at your leisure.

The County Hotel is one of Newcastle's original hotels dating back to 1874, located directly opposite Newcastle train station and within close proximity to the main shopping spots, museums and cultural attractions.
