DORNOCH & STRATHPEFFER
After a hearty Scottish breakfast we travel to nearby Dornoch where you can enjoy a stroll along the unspoilt beach with its fabulous views across the Dornoch Firth and explore the many shops and cafes. Enjoy some time in Strathpeffer this afternoon too at leisure.
ULLAPOOL & GAIRLOCH
After a hearty Scottish breakfast in the Ben Wyvis Hotel, we depart this morning for our scenic exursion through Wester Ross visiting some of the most popular and picturesque points on the North Coast 500 - Ullapool & Gairloch. Travel through the stunning Highland glens watching out for eagles and red deer around every turn, before being graced with the beautiful sight of Loch Broom and Ullapool resting on its banks. Explore this picturesque Highland town and enjoy the shops and restuarants before we travel south along the banks of Loch Ewe to Gairloch. Enjoy time to wander along the white sandy beach and the take in the views over to Skye & Raasay, or why not visit the Heritage Museum to learn about the area. We return to the hotel in time for evening meal.
KYLE LINE & INVERNESS
After breakfast we travel south to have some time in Inverness this morning then catch the train for a scenic journey you will never forget. Travel by train on the Kyle Line and marvel at the stunning views as the train takes you through some of the most impressive and remote scenery in the Scottish Highlands. Arriving at Kyle of Lochalsh before returning to the hotel by majestic lochs and through spectacular glens in time for your delicious evening meal. (journey may be done in reverse)
