Tenby & South Wales Coast

DAY 1

Board the coach and join your fellow passengers on the journey to Wales. We have a stop in North Wales tonight to break up the journey, where you can enjoy a delicious dinner this evening in the Grand Hotel, Llandudno.

DAY 2

After breakfast we depart Llandudno and journey along the beautiful Welsh coastal route towards Llanelli. We travel through Caernarfon on our way to Portmeirion village where you have time to explore at leisure the colourful tourist attraction. Onwards to our next stop for lunch at Aberystwyth where you can enjoy the sandy beaches and shops at your leisure. We arrive in the Diplomat Hotel Llanelli in the late afternoon and you will have time to unpack before your delicious evening meal.

DAY 3

Enjoy a day of rest in Llanelli today at your leisure. The hotel has a fabulous spa and leisure facilities including indoor heated pool, sauna, hot tub & steam room. Or explore Llanelli for the day. You could visit the Parc  Howard Museum, the beautiful long sandy beaches or the Wetland Centre - a protected lagoon & lake housing flamingos, geese & mandarin ducks.

DAY 4

After a hearty breakfast we journey along the South Wales Coast to visit the popular seaside resort of Tenby. Here you will find plenty of eclectic shops, narrow alleyways and pavement cafes overlooking the Blue Flag beach. At low tide St Catherine's Island is linked to the mainland. Enjoy time here at your leisure to explore.

DAY 5

Today we take a scenic tour through the stunning Pembrokeshire scenery and visit Haverfordwest and St David's this morning. The market town of Haverfordwest is resting on the Western Claddeau and offers attractions such as castle and priory ruins, Spitfire museum and plenty shops to browse through. Then onto beautiful St David's city, where you can visit the cathedral and the resting place of Wales Patron Saint, St David. There are also over 200 other listed ancient buildings and structures to see here, notably including the 14th-century Tower Gate, the Celtic Old Cross.

DAY 6

After breakfast this morning we say goodbye to the Diplomat Hotel and travel north on the beginning of our journey home.  We stop in the City of Chester for some time to explore and have lunch. Arriving in our overnight hotel and enjoy your evening meal and restful nights sleep.

DAY 7

This morning board the coach and enjoy the last leg of our journey back to Scotland and your departure point after this lovely holiday to the South Wales Coast.
