The Tall Ships Race is arriving in Aberdeen Harbour this July and we are excited to welcome you onboard and get the chance to visit these magnificent vessels as they race from Le Harve in France to their finish-line in Denmark!
Enjoy time in Aberdeen and the opportunity to view the ships at close quarters, a visit to the Maritime Museum, and also the Royal’s Summer residence of Balmoral Castle.

Sat: ABERDEEN TALL SHIPS
More than 50 tall ships from across the globe will descend on Aberdeen City for this amazing 4 day maritime festival. On arrival to Aberdeen Harbour, we catch our first glimpse of the magnificent ships, which are open to the public for a few days. The city will be a buzz with more than 1500 sailors joining in the International Crew Parade, prize giving ceremony and there will be many events on throughout the city as well in the celebrations. Enjoy time here and visit to the Maritime Museum close the harbour which tells the story of the city’s long relationship with the sea. We return to the hotel this evening in time for dinner. (event timings are subject to change)
Sun: ROYAL DEESIDE & BALMORAL
After breakfast, we journey through the Aberdeenshire countryside to visit Balmoral Castle. Built around 1854 for Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, the castle is known world-wide as the Royal family’s Summer retreat from London. You will have time to explore some of the castle’s interior rooms which are open to the public, and there is also an exhibition room and Estate grounds to enjoy. Enjoy your day here and we return to the hotel in time for dinner this evening.
LANDMARK HOTEL & LEISURE CLUB - DUNDEE
The Landmark Hotel & Leisure Club is a converted 19th-century mansion sitting in six acres of stunning grounds on the outskirts of Dundee. The hotel features an indoor swimming pool, gym and a conservatory-style restaurant. The mansion house has elegant, spacious rooms, each with blackout curtains, a power shower and flat-screen TV. The hotel has some accessible rooms and a lift.
