This Spring join us for a wonderful new 5 day break away to the Aberdeenshire Coast and Peterhead. Our base for this lovely coastal tour is the Waterside Hotel near Peterhead, which boasts fabulous leisure facilities, wonderful views over the links golf course and white sandy bays just a stones throw away. Enjoy inclusive excursions to the granite city of Aberdeen, a coastal tour to Portsoy and Banff, and also time at leisure in Peterhead.

ABERDEEN 

This morning you can enjoy a lovely tour around the granite city of Aberdeen. The coach will give you a tour of the city before dropping you near the Gordon Highlanders Musuem where you then have time to explore the granite city at leisure. You could visit the Maritime Museum, The Tolbooth Musuem or St Machar's Cathedral. There is also a fantastic High Street for those who wish to shop or why not explore the harbour and the village of Footdee?  The day is yours here before rejoining the coach and travelling back to the hotel in time for dinner.

FRASERBURGH & PETERHEAD

Today we travel along the North East coast to visit Fraserburgh and Peterhead. Enjoy the beautiful scenery travelling through Newburgh, the fishing village of Cruden Bay and onto Peterhead where you will have time to explore the fishing port with its shops, cafes and Peterhead Jail, which is now a musuem offering guided tours.  Travel on along the coast to Fraserburgh where you can explore the busy fishing town.


ABERDEENSHIRE COASTAL TOUR

Enjoy a lovely day out today starting with a visit to the small fishing port of Portsoy, appointed a royal burgh by Mary Queen of Scots in 1550 and its famous Portsoy marble is on display in the harbour. Time to explore the lovely fishing village before travelling along the coast to Banff  our next stop with its picturesque harbour and plentiful shops and cafes for a spot of lunch.  Touring back towards Peterhead in time for dinner this evening.

 

WATERSIDE HOTEL - PETERHEAD

Here at the Waterside Hotel there’s many facilities to make sure you enjoy your stay. Ogilvies Restaurant serves breakfast and dinner each day and Muse Bar is open daily with a wide selection of beverages to choose from as well as snacks. The hotel also boasts on-site health and leisure facilities, consisting of a heated indoor pool, gym, sauna, steam room and spa pool. The Waterside Hotel has spacious en-suite bedrooms that have tea and coffee making facilities, TV, hairdryer and telephone. Wi-Fi is free of charge in public areas and there is a free on-site car park. The hotel also has a 24-hour reception.
