Tuesday
Join the coach and take the scenic journey travelling along the Kintyre Peninsula to catch the afternoon ferry from Kennacraig to Port Ellon, and enjoy your 1st night stay in the Machrie Hotel & Golf Links. This impressive luxury hotel boasts stunning views over Laggan Bay, luxurious rooms and the very best local Scottish fayre. (Incl Meals, Dinner on ferry)
Wednesday
Following breakfast, you have a lovely excursion around Islay. We travel along Laggan Bay to visit Bowmore where you will have a few hours to explore the town, its harbour, shops and the islands oldest distillery. After time here we travel along the Rhinns of Islay to Port Charlotte. Here you can lunch in one of the hotels or cafes and enjoy the stunning views over the loch or visit the Islay Museum before travelling to Portnahaven, the very southern tip of the island where there is a lovely village with beach walks and the lighthouse on Orsay. Travel back to the hotel late afternoon. (Incl Meals. Breakfast only)
Thursday
Enjoy an early breakfast before we depart the Machrie Hotel and set off for a morning visit to the American Monument on the Mull of Oa. Situated on a cliff with walkway access, this is to comemmorate the WWI soldiers who lost their lives when 2 American warships were torpedoed. We travel then to Port Ellen for some time before travelling along the length of the island enjoying the beautiful scenery to catch the ferry over to the mainland. Watch out for dolphins and whales as you cross the Sound of Jura to Kennacraig. Travel along the Kintyre Peninsula through Kilmartin Glen and arrive in Oban at the Royal Hotel for your overnight stay in the harbour town. (Incl Meals. Breakfast & Dinner)

Enjoy the return journey back home after breakfast in the hotel. (Incl Meals. Breakfast & Packed Lunch)
