Torquay
The seaside resort of Torquay has everything to make your holiday a special one. Palm trees line the promenade, shops and restaurants are located on every corner, and there are lots of attractions including Torre Abbey & Gardens, and the bustling harbour with amusements and cafes to sit out and enjoy the sunny climate.
Brixham & Paignton
We start the day with a visit to Paignton along the coast. Enjoy the beautiful sandy beach and the relaxing walk along the promenade where you can purchase locally caught seafood, enjoy a walk along the pier, and browse the many shops in the town. Later the coach will take you along the coast to the fishing harbour of Brixham where you can browse the unique gift and craft shops, enjoy some seafood in the restaurants or just relax and take in the views at the harbour cafes. And don’t forget to visit the famous replica of Sir Francis Drake’s iconic ship The Golden Hind, which has docked in Brixham for over 50 years and educated thousands of visitors.
Plymouth
Today we visit the seaside port of Plymouth - rich in maritime heritage and with its historic Barbican district. 2020 marks the 400 year anniversary of the Mayflower sailing to America, and the city will be full of fabulous exhibitions and events during the Summer to celebrate this special event. Explore the Sutton Harbour & Barbican area, the city centre shops and many historic buildings and museums throughout the city.
